Reflection - A Good Year and More to Come

Time rarely stands still for me. Between running a business in fast-paced Manhattan, daily blogging, and taking care of my family, it is easy to get swallowed up in the moment and not take the time to reflect. I love this time of year because the clean break in the year provides me (sometimes forces me) with the much needed opportunity to reflect about the last year. 2009 has been an amazing year for us at Amy Atlas Events. We had the opportunity to collaborate with really talented people that we respect in the design, food, event, and publishing industries. I'm so thankful that we have had these opportunities. I'm also so grateful for all of the wonderful readers and supporters for stopping in everyday to check out what we are doing. It is my readers and supporters that inspire me, and it is because of you that I take the time to blog everyday.

2010 promises to be a very exciting year. I'll be sharing some very exciting news with you soon. It has been hard not to share with you, but soon enough I will get to fill you in. I'll also be updating the blog in early 2010 and I think you will be really excited about the changes. I'd love to hear your thoughts as to what you would like to see on the blog so please feel free to make suggestions. In the meantime, I want to wish you a wonderful New Year filled with good health, peace, and prosperity. Thank you for 2009 and I can't wait to continue the ride with you in 2010!

I can't wait to see what's new. I love your blog, I enjoy looking at the pictures, recipes and amazing style. If I could ask for more, I would ask you do some video tutorials on some of your wonderful ideas.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I follow your blog faithfully, and enjoy every post. Of course, what I come here for is to see photos of your work (more than the photos you sometimes share from others). I can't get enough of the photos of your dessert displays! I would love to even see some photos of your displays in process (before the final shot). I would also love to hear about how/why you decide on certain candy or desserts for a given party. Looking forward to all the inspiration you'll share this year!
Thanks!

I have also become addicted to your blog and website since I found it. I can't wait to hear and see what new things are afoot in 2010! Everything you do here on your blog is amazing and I do agree with some of the others, that video tutorials as well as where you find some of the treasures you use.
Thanks for all of the inspiration and Happy New Year!

Like the others who have left comments, I too have added you to my must-read blog list, which has you and only two other bloggers. Not enough time for more than that unfortunately. I honestly cannot begin to figure out how bloggers find the time to blog on top of work/family/life. I truly admire those who are able to not only pull it off, but do it with panache.

My first request is a source guide for the candy as well as trays/containers.

My second hope is that you're actively looking for a Boston-based partner, in which case I happily volunteer for the job! We need you here.

Best of luck - I truly believe 2010is going to be the best year to date for all of us.
