Summer Bicycle Inspired Wedding - Guest Feature

Esther of My Bride Story sent over these beautiful pictures of a summer bicycle inspired wedding she recently created for a special couple. The styling of this wedding exudes summer, doesn't it? I love the yellow and white check linens, the beautiful floral peony and craspedia arrangements, the lattice fence sundae bar, and of course, all of the bike details! For all of you party hostesses, this summery design need not be limited to weddings. The design would translate well for a mother's day luncheon, a birthday party, or even a lunch with the gals. If these pictures don't unleash your inner party planner, I don't know what will! Simply stunning, Esther!

We'll be back next week with behind-the-scenes of an event we're working on. See you then!

Guest Feature

We're working on a few fun magazine shoots this week so I'll be back with behind-the-scenes on that next week. In the meantime, I've been getting so many guest feature submissions and many are stunning. I know you all want a mix of our behind-the-scenes and guest submissions so I'll try to give you a nice balance. I may have to start posting 2x a day to get all the material out there on the blog, but don't think I'm quite there yet with my schedule:-)

Anyway, I squealed with delight when I opened up an email from Kathleen of Twig & Thistle yesterday. She created a Matryoshka Nesting Doll-inspired party for her sister Allison's baby shower. I love how Kathleen was able to take a Matryoshka nesting doll concept and execute the details so perfectly. Check out more details on the party here and here.
PS - We found out her sister just had the baby today! Congrats!

School Inspired Baby Shower

Whitney Smith of Whitney Smith Photography and her friend Britney sent me some pictures of an amazing baby shower they created for their school teacher friend Emily (aka Mrs. Moulton). Whitney and Britney really did their homework when they planned this school-inspired party. The shower included lots of cute details including a chalkboard menu, lunch-sack sandwiches, cafeteria lunch trays, a composition guest book, milk and cookies, and pb&j bars. Whitney and Britney even arranged for Mrs. Moulton's students to write advice for the mom-to-be {such a cute idea!} Looks like these gals definitely passed the test for party planning with this fabulous shower! Thanks for sharing Whitney!
