Venues

Last week was filled with special projects like this and this, but our days this week are filled with client meetings, site visits, and planning parties! One of the places we'll be visiting today is the Metropolitan Club, an ideal venue for a special event due to its ornate architectural design and proximity to the Central Park! We'd love to hear from you about where you held your special event (wedding, shower, birthday, or whatever!) and why you loved it. Were you happy with the venue that you picked? What was it about the venue that you loved? We'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'll also be working with my webmaster on blog re-design and functionality this week so please send in comments of what you would like to see on the blog in 2010!

hi amy! I love your blog. in terms of what I'd like to see in 2010 from the blog - I would say larger pictures and less space dedicated to the sidebar, more advice and tips on food decorating/inspiration =)

I had my bridal shower a few years ago at Casablanca Tea Room, which I loved because it was cozy and a funky take on the classic tea party. We got married at the Hudson Hotel, which I also love. The wedding and reception were in the tented terrace way upstairs. Great views, great lobby and bar, and it was just a cool, fun spot.
