New Amy Atlas Feature in InStyle Magazine

We were featured today on the InStyle Weddings website. InStyle departed from their weekly wedding feature to include our moroccan dessert bar. A big thanks to the ladies at InStyle for featuring us!

Amy Atlas Events Biz Ladies Feature on Design*Sponge

Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge reached out to me last week and asked me to participate in a story for her weekly business advice column. The story focuses on how local NY businesses are affected by the recession. Design*Sponge just posted the article and you can view the feature here. I think the answers from all of the participants were very informative. What have you done to help your business grow during this tough economic climate?

Cute as a Button Cupcakes

I have to share a website that has the most vibrant goodies. For a while, I wanted to keep it to myself, but I couldn't bear the idea of not sharing this with you! It is a baker's site from half way around the world, but clicking on her site just makes me happy! Although I won't be visiting Hala Audi Beydoun's Cocoa and Us Shop anytime soon since she is based in Beirut, I will visit her site often for loads of inspiration, especially for kid's parties. Not only are Hala's vivid colors on her baked canvases so inviting, she also has come up with creative ways to make her confections innovative and fun. Be sure to get through every image on her site, as you will not want to miss one single image!

DIY Candy Favors

I found these adorable diy candy favors from Zakka Life, via Party Perfect Blog. Aren't they adorable? Created by using cupcake liners from Bake it Pretty , these adorable favors would be a cheery addition for one of my dessert bars!

Beach Wedding Favors

I saw these adorable favors on the Event Blossom site and had to share. After a hot and sunny weekend in NY, I thought these would be great to include for a favor at a beach wedding event. What are some of your fave beach wedding favors?

Moroccan Inspired Dessert Bar with Sunday Suppers!

It was a weekend filled with parties for us! On Saturday, we created an elegant dessert display for a lovely client in Southampton, NY. Pictures to come soon!

On Sunday, we created a Moroccan-inspired dessert bar for Sunday Suppers. Sunday Suppers is a class-cooking-dining experience created by photography expert Karen Mordechai and chef extraordinaire Casey Solomon . We were so fortunate to collaborate with many talented women for the event, including the incredibly talented Aran Goyoaga of Cannelle et Vanille , who flew in from Florida for the event! I also had the chance to work with invitation guru Erica Bohanon Miller of Thoughtful Day, Floral Fave Jessie Weidinger of Rountree , Cake Diva Archana Rao of Love Street Cakes , and wonderful Pastry Chef Ali Kantor of Papery and Cakery. More pics of this great event to come!
