Cinco de Mayo is tomorrow so it is time to put on some mariachi music and get into the festive mood. Below is a roundup of Cinco de Mayo decor including Papel Picado decor. Papel picado is the traditional Mexican folk art of punching colorful tissue paper to create beautifully designed banners. If you are intimidated by an intricate pattern, you can create a simple fringe papel picado with just tissue paper, twine, scissors and tape (diy instructions below). I'm also loving the Cinco de Mayo Margarita cupcakes! Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
