It seems that Australia has really taken to the dessert table trend! Suzi of Alannah Rose Stationery Boutique from Melbourne, Australia, sent over these darling pictures of her daughter's 5th bird-themed birthday party. I want to tweet to the world how cute this party is, as no detail was left undone for Alannah's special day. There were "ginger-bird" cookie favors, a "thirsty bird" drink bar, a hanging cookie bird tree, and a beautiful bird cake. I love the fresh pale pink and cherry red color palette. Suzi used tissue pom poms for a vertical element. These are inexpensive to make {you only need tissue paper, scissors and floral wire} and they are really easy to create {see here}. And how cute is birthday girl "La La" Alannah? A little birdie told me that she loved her party! Great work, Suzi!
All I can say is WOW!!! This mother did an amazing job. Among the many beautiful party pictures I have seen this year, this one soars to the top three!

ReplyDeleteamy, your blog is beautiful and your work is so inspiring! you put so much love for detail into it and it shows. :) i love the joy it gives people, one of the reasons i decided to start a career in food. i know it sounds cheesy but learning about your business was a major inspiration for me because i feel there's nothing quite like it in Europe. Not for now at least but wait until I'll be done with my training at Le Cordon Bleu, London and that might change... ;)
