Fancy Food Show Part I - Meeting with Barefoot Contessa

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Ina Garten (the Barefoot Contessa) fan. In fact, my two kids, who are only 4 and 3 years old, may possibly be her biggest fans. Instead of watching Dora, they opt to watch the Barefoot Contessa. They insist that we record it, and we cook or bake something every week using her cookbooks or her shows as inspiration. My older son even had a chef's birthday party inspired by Ina, which I will post about this week! Given our love for Ina, it was a huge honor to have met her at the Fancy Food Show in NYC today. She was just as lovely in person as she seems on screen!

I'm thrilled to tell you that we were featured in InStyle Wedding's Summer 2009 Issue! In their spread about personalizing weddings, InStyle called us "one of the country's top event designers” and featured our dessert bars as a way to “raise the dessert bar” at a wedding. It was so wonderful working with the InStyle Magazine staff and we are so thankful for the feature!
